Practical and Lived Experience
Semilya is built on real-world practice, not theory. Principles are tested on farms, in businesses, and in real leadership decisions.
Our Story
Semilya sa Kinabuhi (Seed of Life) began in 2005 with a simple request: train a group of workers at Moriah Farms in Bukidnon. What started as a humble program rooted in practical, biblical wisdom has grown into a movement that has helped individuals, entrepreneurs, families, and organizations cultivate fruitfulness in work, business, and everyday life.
For over 20 years, Semilya has quietly planted seeds of purpose, growth, and impact, turning lessons learned on a farm into principles that guide life, leadership, and business.
Semilya did not grow through advertising. It grew because people experienced the lessons, lived them out, and passed them on.
Why Semilya
We see a world that abounds in fruitfulness as people live out God’s Word in every part of their lives. (Genesis 1:28)
Semilya is built on real-world practice, not theory. Principles are tested on farms, in businesses, and in real leadership decisions.
We anchor our programs in God’s timeless guidance, offering guidance that has stood the test of time and continues to shape how people live, work, lead, and steward what has been entrusted to them.
Growth comes through habits, accountability, and applying values to work, finances, and leadership.
Transformation doesn’t end with one person. Our alumni share what they learn with their teams, families, and communities, creating a ripple effect of impact.
Our foundational principles that guide every lesson and interaction.
We focus on building leaders, not just inspiring them.
Our programs reflect humility, hard work, and a connection to the land.
Lessons come from years of lived experience, not just curriculum design.
Semilya grows through relationships, not ads. Our alumni are our greatest advocates.
Real numbers, real people, real transformation.

Semilya is more than a program, it is a movement, a community,
and a calling to lead with wisdom that lasts.
“What makes Semilya sa Kinabuhi different is that the primary teacher, Dodong Cacanando, models what he teaches. The lessons are not just something you hear during a session. You see them in the way he lives and runs his business.”
“We sent our employees from all over the country to attend the courses of Semilya sa Kinabuhi, and they returned with practical knowledge and valuable insights, especially on what it means to be good stewards.”
“Semilya sa Kinabuhi is life-changing for me. It brought me back to the basics of life and reminded me of what is truly important in life.”
